oderate-to-severe psoriasis patients fare better using Raptiva over placebo treatments, according to results from Serono's 24-week clinical study CLEAR (Clinical Experience Acquired with Raptiva). Serono officials say the study confirms the effectiveness and safety with continued use of Raptiva compared to placebo in patients who either continued after an initial 12-week therapy to receive treatment up to 24 weeks, or who received re-treatment for an additional 12 weeks following a treatment-free observation period.
