UNICEF: Venezuela Indigenous Anu
Lagoon Sinamaica in northwestern Venezuela is home to the Añu, one of the country's struggling indigenous groups. Among the 3,500 Añu, knowledge of their indigenous language has been all but lost. But UNICEF, working with its partners in Venezuela, has made revitalizing indigenous cultures " including that of the Añu" a top priority.
