Lights to improve automotive safety and design
The lighting system on the Cadillac CTS includes a front projector headlamp system featuring LED-powered light pipes and "ice cube" optics that give the vehicle a sophisticated and distinctive daytime as well as night-time look. The edge-marking light pipes allow drivers adjacent to the vehicle to more easily recognize the vehicle's edges, especially on the rear lighting system. These light pipes glow vertically along the edges of the CTS tail and head lights. This is not only for design, it also gives better visibility to the driver.
