SAS, 60 years of history
Edited video package from 1946 through today containing archived footage of first planes, flight service, passengers. Celebrating the 60th Anniversary of SAS.In 1946 DDL (1918), ABA/SILA (1924) and DNL (1927) formed Scandinavian Airlines System the national Scandinavian carrier. From the very beginning SAS was one of the most innovative airlines in Europe, for example by introducing a tourist class on board or by opening a polar route to Tokyo in 1957.
