Dr. Mark Nelson trained at Jesus College, Cambridge, and Westminster Medical School, qualifying in 1986, subsequently becoming a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians. He became a Consultant at Westminster Hospital in HIV Medicine in 1994. His primary research interest is in new antiretrovirals and the treatment of hepatitis B and C, both in the singly and co-infected patients. He is principally Director of HIV Services, Deputy Director of Research, and Honorary Senior Lecturer at Imperial College School of Medicine.
